For decades, many NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) have tried to help Africans by means of various initiatives and projects of various categories. Most of these efforts have regrettably failed. The reason for this failure is that the mentality, culture as well as traditional heritage of the Africans are not adequately considered. LGH International has identified Africans in diaspora to be the agents through which Africans could be assisted and their mentality, culture as well as traditional heritage understood and considered. A genuine cooperation between these Africans in diaspora and western experts will result in smooth penetration into the African cultural background - a well-protected barrier to humanitarian endeavors.

Because of illiteracy, verbal education has little or no effect hence, the ability to learn has been reduced drastically. This has resulted in more illiteracy, lack of information. Through various researches, LGH International has realized that the most effective method for the Africans (Literate or illiterate) is visual education hence, the introduction of Television programs such as Diasporatic Voice.

Through Diasporatic Voices, Africans in diaspora and Western experts will come together, visually discuss each given problem, and provide a solution to the problem. After the completion of each documentary movie, African television stations are to televise these educative materials on weekly bases.
Similarly, each project conducted in an LGH-EXAMPLE-CITY will be video-recorded and televised across Africa and other developing countries.

    Diasporatic Voices Components:

    Movies
    Books
    Documentaries
    Drama
    Comedy
    Computer Animations
    Cartoons

Diasporatic Voices (DV Project) is further divided into two sections namely Discussion and Action. Please visit www.Lghi.org click on download and choose your speed (256).

    Discussion:

In discussion part, Africans in Diaspora and western experts will have to identify the cause(s) of the considered problem, the short and long time effect of such problem to the people, communities, Governments, economy and quality of life. Both, the Africans in diaspora as well as the western experts have to exchange ideas on how to solve the problem. Interviews will as well be the part of the section of Diasporatic Voices (DV).
After the completion, the program will be edited and made ready for western, and other of the developing countries, television stations. By televising the Diasporatic Voices on the western television stations, Africans or others from developing countries will watch it and get inspired to take actions to replicate the same idea in their countries of origin.

    Action
In this section of our program, the experts will have to teach the Africans in Diaspora how to solve the problem in a practical way. This means that a real-time situation has to be created and solution visually provided. In some cases, reproduction of the situation may be needed. After completion of this section of the Diasporatic Voices (DV-How) both, the experts and the Africans or other in diaspora will reproduce the situation in LGH EXAMPLE CITY in Africa. The documentary is now complete for edition and thus for television stations.

If we patronize made-in-Africa products, we create employment, eliminate
poverty and encourage productivity in Africa.
If we renovate/reconstruct marketplaces, we help thousands of families that
depend on those markets help themselves, prevent children from hawking on
dangerous streets, help parent care for their children.
If we teach Africa how to fish, Africans will never beg for fish again.
